Chau Van Kham, a 71 year old Vietnamese Australian, was detained within hours of arriving in Vietnam in 2019 and sentenced to 12 years in prison for being a member of the political party, Viet Tan.
Since his detention, his wife and children have campaigned tirelessly for his release.
Every year, Amnesty activists and supporters around the world send solidarity messages to people like Chau, imprisoned for defending human rights.
These solidarity messages bring hope to people and when they arrive in huge numbers, they show the authorities that the world is watching.
Show your support, and send a message of solidarity to Chau and his family today. We will handover all your messages to him and his family, so they know they're not alone in their fight for his freedom.
