It doesn’t take much to take part, but it could make a world of difference to those who need your help.
Over 15 years ago, Amnesty activists in Poland held the first Write for Rights. Now, it's the world's biggest human rights event. In 2019 we're inviting compassionate people to hold their very own Write for Rights on 10 December, Human Rights Day.
Write for Rights involves people coming together all around the world to take action - writing letters, signing petitions, and much more. All you need is a pen, some paper, and a few of your closest friends, family, and colleagues.
These actions help right some of the world's biggest wrongs - people unfairly imprisoned are freed, torturers are brought to justice, and death sentences are comuted.
On 10 December 2019, we're inviting everyone to hold their own Write for Rights. Sign up now and we'll post you a toolkit with step by step instructions on how to take part. We'll also post you all the resources your need to hold your own Write for Rights. We'll be there to support you every step of the way!
Together, we make a difference. Actions from your Write for Rights will be sent to human rights abusers, along with millions more from around the world. This will put huge pressure on them to end their abuse.
Get ready to right some of the world's biggest wrongs. Sign up to hold your own Write for Rights.
