Change happens when we stand strong together.

Incredibly generous Amnesty International supporters have offered to match your donation, dollar for dollar, when you donate before midnight on Tuesday the 24th of December.

This is possible thanks to the Oranges & Sardines Foundation, who will double every gift up to a total of $100,000. This means that if you donate $80 then Amnesty will receive $160. Every donation you make will go twice as far!

TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

Every day, human rights are being violated. People are tortured because they openly share their opinions. They are beaten because they protest. They are sentenced to death without a fair trial. They disappear because of their beliefs.

Every day Amnesty International works to protect those in danger. We stop torture, we get people released, we change inhuman policies and we hold governments and corporations to account.

This is what we are doing right now in more than 150 countries around the world. Protecting individuals who are in danger because they stand up for what is right.

We will never stop fighting for fairness, equality and justice. We will not give up.

But we need your help. Your donation will give people freedom and justice and will have twice the impact if you give now.

It is only because of people like you that Amnesty’s vital work can continue. With your help we can do more research, more lobbying, take more actions and stand strong against injustice.

We rely on people like you

Amnesty doesn’t accept funding from governments or political organisations. This financial independence means we’re free to campaign with objectivity and impartiality and to defend human rights worldwide.

All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible in Australia.
