Right now our elected leaders are turning their backs on the things we all believe in - our shared values of equality, freedom and justice. We see families denied the right to seek asylum from war-torn countries. We see women controlled and punished, for simply being women. Worldwide, human rights are under attack as politicians divide us for their own gain.

In the ongoing battle of human rights abuses, it’s easy to lose hope that things can turn around. We’ve been challenging those in power to make sure they put people first for over 50 years now, and we know that when we act together - we can win. We know that when attitudes change, laws can change.
