SEVEN YEARS IS TOO LONG TO SUFFER. IT'S TIME TO CALL GAME OVER!

Please take a moment and think about everything you've seen and done in the past seven years. All the places you've been. The milestones you've celebrated. The special times you've spent with friends and family. Now imagine that none of that had happened. That you'd spent the past seven years of your life trapped and isolated in appalling conditions - unable to work, access education, or even get proper medical care. Horrifying isn't it?

Innocent people like Samad have spent the past seven years trapped offshore. They are suffering, and many lost hope long ago.

WE MUST GET THEM TO SAFETY.

That's what our government has done to hundreds of ordinary people who came to Australia seeking safety from persecution. Many of those people are still trapped in Papua New Guinea and Nauru as part of our government's inhumane offshore detention policy.

They are destitute, physically and emotionally. They've lost friends, family and their youth - many are suicidal and desperate for our help. All these people wanted was to be safe. To live normal lives, build careers, raise families. Instead, they've been barely holding on without hope for seven long years.

There are options. Amnesty International has worked to get people to Switzerland and Canada. New Zealand has offered to take 150 refugees a year for the past five years - an offer that our government has rejected.

IT'S TIME TO CALL "GAME OVER" ON AUSTRALIA'S POLICY ON OFFSHORE DETENTION

DONATE TODAY and help put an end to seven years of suffering, to get these people to safety and the chance to rebuild their lives.
