DONATE NOW TO KEEP DEFENDING HUMAN RIGHTS IN 2021
Last year was challenging. Especially for people from vulnerable communities, wrongfully imprisoned individuals and all those whom Amnesty serves to protect.
Yet, even during 2020, we continued to see positive changes in the world that were only possible because of our incredible supporters.
Our global movement has another big year ahead. We have a vision for change and we want you to be a key part of it. You can donate now to keep defending human rights in 2021.

2020 WINS
Last year, thanks to our supporters, we achieved many human rights wins:
- Half a million Rohingya children finally went back to school two years after fleeing their homes in Myanmar to avoid torture.
- Iranian women unfairly imprisoned for defending their human rights got released.
- We saw the ACT raise the age of criminal responsibility from 10 to 14.
- We worked with our supporters to campaign for better treatment of asylum seekers and to end Australian offshore detention. This helped lead to 26 refugees being safely moved from offshore detention to new homes in the US.
WHERE TO FROM HERE?
In 2021 we will be working especially hard to:
- Support refugees and asylum seekers. Amnesty will continue to strongly campaign for the Australian Government to end offshore detention.
- Continue campaigning to raise the age of criminal responsibility for Australian children from 10 to 14.
- Protect individuals at risk around the world.
- Urge the Australian government to enact an anti-racism strategy and work towards equality in policing, health care, housing, education and employment.
- Campaign to end the death penalty in the Asia Pacific.
Our 2021 battles ahead are great, but what we can achieve together is even greater. We must stand against unfairness and fight for a just world. Together we’re unstoppable. Please donate now.
100% FUNDED BY YOU
Governments are afraid of us because we are 100% independent and unstoppable. For the people, by the people.
Amnesty doesn’t accept funding from governments or political organisations so they have zero leverage on what we do.
This financial independence means we’re free to campaign with objectivity and impartiality and to defend human rights worldwide.
All donations of $2 and over are tax deductible in Australia.
